FAQ
Common questions about search coverage, billing, and exports.
Here is how PartIntel handles search credits, live pricing coverage, vendor variability, and CSV export workflows.
What counts as one search?
One submitted, normalized SKU lookup counts as one search credit. Bulk uploads should count unique normalized SKUs, not duplicate rows.
Are the prices always live?
The engine can use cached and live fetch paths. Results reflect the latest successful scrape or cached market snapshot available to the application at the time.
Do you guarantee stock and fitment accuracy?
No. PartIntel is a search and comparison workspace. Final fitment, freight, taxes, and vendor-side availability still need buyer verification before ordering.
Why do some vendors occasionally fail?
Retailers can rate-limit, change markup, or block automation. The application already tracks timeouts, blocked fetches, and unsupported vendors so gaps can be visible rather than hidden.
Who is this for?
Independent workshops, parts desks, automotive resellers, fleet teams, and procurement staff who need a faster way to compare supplier pricing by SKU.
Can I upload a CSV?
Yes. Bulk CSV export is already part of the current application and is one of the strongest reasons to package this as a SaaS workflow.
